With a spectacular setting within the Anahita Wilderness Sanctuary, this award-winning resort features outstanding facilities set against a lush green mountain backdrop. The resort is divided between the mangrove-fringed mainland and its 11-acre private island, which overlooks a sheltered lagoon and has three beaches. The focus here is on pure indulgence, and nothing is too much trouble – whether you need your sunglasses cleaned or your sunbed moved. There are ample facilities and activities on offer here, most notably the Ernie Els-designed 18-hole golf course, which all guests can enjoy for free, and the secluded Spa at Four Seasons that offers 12 overwater treatment rooms.

Rooms

The low-key style of the Paradise Cove is reflected in the simple, yet charming décor of the rooms and suites which are located in three-storey buildings throughout the hotel’s grounds. The four-poster beds with white drapes create a feeling of romance and the terrace or balconies have views out over the grounds towards the cove or they overlook the water directly. The Deluxe and Deluxe Premium Rooms are both a comfortable choice, however if you’re seeking a little more space, an upgrade to a Club Junior or Senior Suite comes highly recommended.

Dining

The hotel's main restaurant, The Dining Room is beautifully spacious and light-filled and has a view out on to the swimming pool and inside or outdoor seating.

For a more intimate experience you should spend an evening at The Cove. As the name would suggest, the restaurant overlooks the tranquil water of the pretty cove and there even over-water pavilions where the venue's top tables are located. For dishes with an Asian flair, the new restaurant XO is the place to be. Seating just 20 people, it has an exclusive, yet relaxed atmosphere.

Indigo Restaurant  is set on the Peninsula. Open for lunch, this laid-back venue has extraordinary views out over the sea and the northern islands. The adjacent Pop-In bar is a fantastic place to catch a breathtaking Indian Ocean sunset while you enjoy a cocktail. Located back in the heart of the hotel, the S.T.A.Y Bar is another relaxing venue in which to enjoy a drink or two. Next to the lobby you will find the Rum Gallery which is open all day, and wine lovers should head for S'Cellar to sample some of the finest Southern Hemisphere rums.
